i discovered stock photos! the face is mostly based on [link] so thanks for that. i changed her eyes and very slightly altered the shape of her face. the background is based on me drawing a bunch of random crap, then tracing that bitmap into a vector with fairly imprecise settings, then applying an individual gradient to each piece. the dragonfly took about ten minutes. i called this akatombo because of the whole japanese theme, and the fact that i am working on a flash music video for electronica outfit [link] isan, for a song of the same name.
